If you are an out doors person this shop is for you from tents to clothing for all weathers bikes and even saw a canoe by the time you have walked round you want to kit up and walk everest lol

Nice staff, good selection of outdoor stuff from walking boots to waterproof clothing and bags. Price can be expensive, but the stuff lasts longer

Just got back from a long weekend away at this site. Will definitely be going back very friendly helpful staff. Very tidy and clean and nice size pitches so children had plenty of room to play. Great spot near centre and zoo.
Great site with friendly staff, good clean toilets and excellent, level hard standings. Other campers seemed very friendly too. Quite a bit of noise from the adjacent main road but we soon got used to that. Two mile walk to the castle or a slightly longer one along the river. Good bus service into town too. If you want to visit Colchester, this site is perfect.

We are on a big cycle tour and had to get a broken spoke fixed. It was Sunday afternoon and we were not too hopeful to get it done soon, but then we phoned here and were told they could fix it! And the super nice bike mechanic did a great repair job in less than twenty minutes! Thank you for the great service!
