Over the past 18 years of business I have used numerous accountants for my businesses, but since being introduced to LB Group I would look no further. I recently visited the team at Pro Tax Accounting for Quickbooks training and it was absolutely superb! I thought I knew how to make the most out of Quickbooks however after speaking with the experts at Pro Tax, I was definitely wrong! Cameron and the rest of the team provided in depth training on all aspects of the software and it was so useful to be shown how to use it to benefit MY business rather than just a general overview. The staff are very helpful. They know all of their regular customers. It has recently been totally transformed and queuing for a long time is a thing of the past. Its very easy to get information.

Great firm with a great team, they built our two storey extension, did all the work from start to finish. We didn't want the hassle of finding our own workers so they project managed everything even the decorating. The price wasn't the cheapest but was competitive and honest.

Excellent vehicle, friendly staff. Was seen reasonably promptly despite a rush of van pick ups and drop offs, loads of room and a newer vehicle and drove well to Manchester and back with nice mod cons. Only thing is they ensure that you have a full tank prepare to have your deposit deducted a few pounds as they top up fuel to the brim on the vehicle when you return. Haven't had that issue with any other rental company but apart from that amazing assistance. Would diffinately think about using again if I need a bigger vehicle than my own.

Excellent service, I highly recommend them! I came to them asking for them to undertake specialist repair work on my car. Some other places turned me down but Richardson's worked with me to get me where I wanted. Their work is high quality, their staff are friendly and they always went the extra mile. They helped me greatly though out the repairs, giving me advice on the repairs I did and were honest and responsible about everything they did. The ultimate proof is the before and after pictures. EDIT: I have since had another accident. Richardson's have done another great job repairing my car. See the photos!

Fantastic customer service, good and honest garage (which can be rare to find). Best part was that the company director felt with me directly and explained everything. Good sign when the boss is hands on. Air conditioning service was spot on, works great and smells good.

I've visited Lookers Colchester a few times over the last 6 months, and as I was looking for a used car no one ever seemed bothered to come and talk to me about what I wanted, in fact, not one person bothered to step foot off the forecourt, until this past Sunday. I would just like to thank Alban Alex at Lookers Colchester for actually stepping out of the showroom and coming to speak to me about what I wanted. 2 days later and I'm now driving around in my new car. I would definitely recommend speaking to Al (trust me you won't miss him he's the one with the funny accent ;) just kidding!)... anyway, he's helpful, listens and is clearly just happy to be with customers and isn't about "closing the deal". We were dealt with promptly but never felt the salesman was pushy or did we ever feel under any pressure. We were offered drinks on arrival. He was very polite and professional throughout the whole transaction with weekly updates via video messages. We really felt special when collecting our new car and having bought cars from the premium brands in the past we didn't feel there was any difference in service. In fact, in some areas Lookers Ford were better. The car arrived at the dealership when promised, the handover was smooth with the salesman being completely organised and very knowledgeable with the new car and all the regular paperwork. A very honest accident repair centre. Have dealt with this company on two separate occasions and despite the repairs being 'private' (not going through insurance) they have quoted repairs for works that only needed doing, and suggesting alternatives to costly repairs. They provide courtesy cars free of charge, and make the repair process as easy and painless as possible. You can even track the repair progress online. Friendly staff, more than willing to help out where they can. Easy to get to a find, on the outskirts of town.

I am the very proud owner of a BMW Z4 and when it was damaged in a car park I looked around for a body repair shop I could trust. A friend recommended B.Clark so I took a look, at the time they were working on a red Ferrari and I thought this is the place for me. I booked my BMW in and when they had repaired the damage and sprayed it the end result was undetectable, absolutely brilliant, it was impossible to tell the difference from showroom condition. Really nice, helpfully and professional people and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody that really loves their car and wants a first class job done perfectly.

This place is excellent. Came here for a second quote after a frustrating experience with a Toyota dealership. The crew at Pace Automotive were simply excellent, taking the time to talk through and explain everything to me, and coming up with a quote in less than thirty minutes. They provided an excellent standard of work, very likely better than through the dealer, and for a much lower price. I cannot recommend them enough. They do excellent work for a very good price, providing attentive customer service through the entire process.

Very polite,professional & understanding of the hire I required,even as going as far to explaining a 3day special hire,which I found very reasonable & worth taking out which i did. Going on to explain to her that.. ..as a regular car hirer I was forced into looking to hire from a different company for EVERY time I was hiring from Thrifty(which as be noted was regular!) I was asked for all my documents, license, bills,proof of address,etc which was rather tedious to say the least,let alone charging me nearly £90 for a slight(& I mean slight!..not chip!!)scuff of the alloy which was taken, with my shocked consent,but nether the less..🙄..time to move on!! The young lady went on to assure me that a deposit is only necessary in the first instance & all my information was held so as not to keep asking for repeat documentation every time! WoW.. Cannot fault it. Excellent value for money. Hired a LWB Van for 3 days and a SWB the following weekend for a day and spent no more than £170.

A bit small with bad car storage while you hire vans. Staff good in the office. But driver valeter a bit useless at being helpful when asked where to parked. I went there with my brother to drive him away after hiring a Luton. He dropped the van off and I was asked again by rude staff who I was and why I was there. And he spoke to the junior valeter like he was a idiot, funny when he couldn't remember what I'd told him two minutes earlier. But good people in the office so all in all not bad.

Wanted to have a spare remote key as when I bought my car they never supplied one. Searched online and this place came up with good reviews and thought I'd give it a go. Got inside and asked for a duplicate remove key. They cut and programmed the key in less than 10 mins and I was out of the door very happy. Very quick, fantastic service and price is half than what the car manufacturer would charge. Highly recommended!

Going on my own experiences over the years(I get the rd bug every few years, most recently last week) of using this shop and taking in others reviews on this shop I would like to add the following.the shop is very well stocked and a is still set out the same way as I remember as a child (possibly 25 years ago??) But I like that, it has models everywhere, stock hung from the ceiling, it's brilliant.. as for people saying that the staff are rude.. its easy to agree with this if maybe your a one off customer and are used to wishy washy customer salesmen but maybe the people saying this are just too polite and push overs themselves, these guys know their stuff and like what they like.and are happy to offer advice.price wise, everything I've bought recently can be found for a few quid cheaper here and there online, but these guys have to buy this stuff in, stock it for an unknown amount of time so you can pop in and buy it at 4pm on a Saturday ,you can't do that online!!!..I will continue you to use this shop for many years, thank you guys, ill see you on Tuesday for more spares as crashed my new riot 3times already..oops.

Good quality vehicle washes, takes the time to do a great job. Valets all my vehicles for me to a high standard. Uses good equipment to get the vehicles clean considering they are used for off road activities and come back covered in mud. Great service and mobile.

Called requiring urgent work to my boiler due to leaking values which I found late on a Sunday night! The company booked me in for first thing the next day. Alan arrived and fixed everything efficiently, talking me through the work he was completing at each stage. He was even concerned about bringing in dirt into my hallway from outside. Fantastic service and I would most definitely use this company again.

Kevin was the service engineer who came for my annual boiler service. He phoned beforehand to let me know his arrival time. He was punctual and stated exactly who he was upon arrival. Before he stepped inside be removed his shoes. He showed competence and serviced the boiler with efficiency and without asking me for the manual. He also speedily identified a small plumbing issue that I asked him about and fixed the problem before he left. Throughout Kevin was courteous and very helpful and gave verbal feedback regarding the servicing of the boiler. I hope he will do my service again next year. Thanks Kevin.

I left my laptop with The Laptop Repair Company for them to recover its operating system and data after it had suffered total failure and became unusable. They recovered it to fully working order and I was able to continue from where I left off before the failure. Excellent, prompt service. Recommended.

Amazing! Life saviour and went above and beyond! My washing machine broke over a weekend and needed a new one but also find a way to dispose of the old one and Raymond took care of it all! Installed the new one and got rid of the old one for the same fee. There are very few people offering this type of services and being so nice and flexible. I highly recommended DVDs, in particular their fabulous instructor Hayley. After having Hayley recommended to me by my sister (after she passed first time), I began learning to drive last summer, then picked it up again this summer following a year away at uni. Throughout my lessons Hayley was kind, patient and supportive, as well as a truly lovely (and hilarious!) person. This morning I passed my practical driving test first time with only three minors and I'm so grateful for all of Hayley's guidance. I'm really going to miss our lessons, thank you for everything! Learnt to drive with Hayley from DVDS and not only did I pass first time, I found learning to drive finally enjoyable because of my fantastic Teacher! Pay a little more for an m.o.t. But you get what you pay for! My car would of failed on a couple of minor defects but inspector sorted them out so the car would pass! Great service and well value for money! Great staff and warm welcome! Would use again!

Attended the offices located in Colchester Town Centre on 3/04/2018, was provided a FT Temp position on 12/04/2018. Spoke directly to Kathy with regards to the details of the placement and everything was arranged effortlessly on her behalf, continually accommodating my needs. Had to collect documents to begin work, Mark dropped me courteously to the location, which I believe to be above and beyond. The company offer subsidies to help people get off the ground, which is brilliant. Although I am yet to begin work, the effort and work carried out on their behalf is second to none and I am very grateful and look forward to working alongside them. Genuinely shocked at the attentiveness and professionalism of this company.

A fantastic place with enjoyable puzzle rooms and amazing staff. We went for one room and ended up going back for another since we enjoyed it so much. There is a friendly, inviting vibe, and a good choice of rooms to compete. The hints were subtle and well timed, only given to us when we were really struggling. There are also some very clever puzzles. A much enjoyed experience.

A lot of fun. We did the the cabin room and had such a laugh. We didn't think we would finish it but we did. Worth a visit. The staff are super friendly and helpful and explain what to expect in a room before you head in.

Simply the best hair salon in Colchester. All the girls are extremely talented and nothing is too much trouble. I met the girls at a wedding fair 5 years ago and would never consider going to anyone else for my hair. I have been going to Fatal Attractions for years and love it. Professional service that focusing on the individual needs in a relaxing and pampering environment. On Saturday, I had the best head message ever with my shampoo! I always receive a professional cut and colour which is why I go to FA but the extra care like a brilliant head message makes it an exceptional experience. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I am gutted to not live in Colchester anymore. I tried so many hair salons when I lived there and non were at their level! I always used to book either Natalie or Rachael, they were fantastic, my highlights were so natural and at the roots (believe me I had hairdressers elsewhere starting my highlights almost 2cm from the roots!!)! The atmosphere was super friendly and chatty! I really recommend!

Wow, what a treasure of a salon this is! Rachel was wonderful yesterday giving me great advice and re-cutting a haircut that just didn’t work from elsewhere. I completely trusted her expertise immediately as she was so professional and reassuring - everyone in the salon was chatty and friendly and I observed expert work with everybody walking out looking fabulous! The tin hat for me was when Rachel asked for no payment merely a contribution in the charity box for her time - how fabulous was that? I was so impressed and have told all of my friends - my daughter and I have now found our favourite salon in Colchester 😊

It has everything you'd expect in a library, and they have some good sessions on for children: story telling etc. But the building is showing its age a bit. Could do with an update really. I guess we're luck it's not been closed though!

Ray Halls pleasant to talk to,very obliging and trustworthy to have on your property. I found Ray puts in the effort required of him and knows his trade, I’ve used him for two/three years and cannot fault him or his work, he also will travel if needed, I use him and recommend him with hindsight and confidence.

Ray did an excellent job painting the outside of our house. He always turned up on time and took account of the weather when planning his day. He always tidied up each day and never left any drips anywhere. Very courteous at all times and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We had a lot of fun and Lindsay took some fabulous shots of our family. Given one part of our family flew in from Sydney and time was short, Lindsay produced the images quickly so we could select the ones we wanted super quick. Would wholeheartedly recommend Lindsay to friends and family.

The best newborn photographer around and I know Charlie does lots of other photography too like family and wedding shots. We used Farlie Photography for both our sons as the first experience was so good. You are truly made to feel one of the family so it's really relaxing and enjoyable and most importantly, the pictures are wonderful. I can highly recommend the wooden canvas print-looks amazing.

SW Print sorted out our business cards. They are triple layered which is an unusual request, but is was no problem to Dean and his team. The proofs were printed same day and the cards were done within 24 hours. Very happy...

Helpful staff. Always seems to be busy with lots of cars but usually I can find a spot to pull into. With staff assistance the job is done in no time and I'm ready to move on.

If you are lucky and time it just right you can have a quick visit.. otherwise be prepared to queue for ages. Why not change the parking layout so people have to reverse in at an angle to the skips, it would mean so many more cars could fit in. Often spaces at the top end of the facility but people tend to wait for spaces as they enter so queues tend to be longer than necessary. Why not have someone directing traffic?

I used Minicab after my flight was delayed and it was a brilliant experience. I was home quickly and safe, the driver was very polite and professional, and it was a lot cheaper than the price quoted by the airport's taxi company.

I'm so sad I don't know my driver's name but such an amazing and caring man. We agreed a price of eight pounds to my friend's apartment and on the way said we will pay ten of he can drop me on the main road. The driver responded that he would drive me to my door at no extra charge as it wasn't safe to walk at this time of night. Honestly, such kindness and consideration goes a long way. Obviously we still tipped for the journey but I feel the gesture of genuine concern means so much more. Amazing service. I would recommend to everyone.

I get really nervous with cabs and I ordered one due to buses not turning up and I was told it would be a 40 min wait at the office and the driver was ready after 20 mins of booking. First class, friendly and fast service. I've used these guys for years & won't use anyone else.

I had Paul come out and install the sky dish, hang a large TV and full Sonos system in the house. He also hid wires for the surround sound system to the television in the wall. I cannot rate these guys high enough. Friendly, quick turnaround, good time keeping and extremely clean and tidy. With holes being drilled in my newly built house I was getting worried but Paul left my walls good as new having filled them and left them ready for me to touch up with a dab of paint. I was particularly pleased with the sky dish installation as they ran the wire straight into my loft and activated my cable sockets rather than running wires down the outside of my house like sky would have done.

Brian is a lovely man. He is punctual, polite, efficient and informative. We would highly recommend him and would rather give him our business in the future, based on our experience, when he installed our TV aerial in our new build purchase.

I've never faulted the care at this vets. I've ised it for many many years. I've also used other vets in this time but I have always come back to this vets. It feels so personal at this vets. The care and compassion is just wonderful. They are not money grabbing like the vets around colchester that are becoming very commercialised. This independent vets has that personal touch. Will always plead with people to use this vets over any other as I have had a huge range of animals and have had countless vets visits and emergency and many different vet experiences. They are very very helpful try their very best with options and advice.
